Flames engulfed a bus near a shopping centre in Solihull this afternoon, Tuesday, February 18.
Firefighters were called to Chelmsley Circle, in Chelmsley Wood, just before 1.45pm.
Footage posted on social media showed a single-decker bus well alight.

Thankfully, no one was trapped or injured during the incident.
The bus was understood to be the no 72 NX West Midlands Service. Crews left the scene by 3pm and recovery of the burnt-out vehicle was due to take place.
A fire service spokesman told BirminhgamLive: “At 1.43pm on Tuesday 18 February, we responded to a fire on Chelmsley Circle, Chelmsley Wood.
“Two of our fire engines attended, from Bickenhill and Ward End fire stations, plus a crew from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service.
“A single-decker bus was well alight next to a shopping centre.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to tackle the fire and put measures in place to protect the shopping centre.
“No one was trapped in the vehicle or hurt.
“Our crews had left the scene by just after 3pm, when recovery for the vehicle was being arranged and the scene managed by the police.”
An NX West Midlands spokeswoman added: “A National Express West Midlands bus was involved in an incident on Chelmsley Circle, Chelmsley Wood this afternoon, where the bus was damaged by a fire.
“There were no injuries and all passengers were swiftly evacuated from the vehicle.
“West Midlands Fire Service attended the scene and we will of course work with them to carry out a full investigation.
“We apologise to any of our customers whose journeys have been delayed as a result of the incident.”
