The Fashion Awards – which until 2016 was called the British Fashion Awards – have been running since 1989.
The first few ceremonies were at Royal Albert Hall, but others have taken place at the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert museum, and other iconic locations across London.
In 2016 it returned to its original home, and has stayed there ever since.
The 1989 edition was attended by Princess Diana, who wore an all-white look that has been dubbed the “Elvis dress”.
Since then, the awards have hosted some of the world’s most famous faces, both those from the world of fashion and elsewhere.
Some of the best and most well-known designers have been honoured over the years – including Dame Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander McQueen.
