April was particularly wet in the UK with almost 30 percent more rain than usual for this time of year. While the weather now shows signs of looking up, many Brits might be planning a getaway abroad.
But the grass isn’t greener everywhere as some of Europe’s rainiest cities are outside the UK.
The team at holidu searched for Europe’s rainiest cities by looking at the average number of rainy days per month and the average daily rainfall statistics.
The continent’s rainiest city has a whopping 13 rainy days a month on average but it isn’t in the UK.
However, Britons can’t feel smug just yet as four British cities did find themselves in the top 10 rainiest hotspots.
