In the wake of the festive season’s financial strain, Aldi is delivering some much-needed January joy by dishing out £1,000 in vouchers to aid its customers.
Whether it’s prepping for the kids’ school return or embracing Veganuary, a £50 voucher can stretch far at Britain’s fourth biggest grocer.
Aldi has been crowned the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket month after month this year by Which?, with a basket of items at the priciest competitor being 26% costlier than at the budget-friendly chain.
The store pledges to keep prices at rock bottom, with initiatives like next month’s Super Six or Super Weekly Offers slashing costs even more.
Starting Thursday, January 2, Aldi shoppers can snag bargains from the latest Super 6 selection, featuring deals such as Red Peppers (49p each), Sweet Gem Lettuce (69p for a 2-pack), Mini Apples (79p for a 6-pack), Celery (49p each), Salad Potatoes (89p per kilogram), and Red Grapefruit (29p each).
Aldi’s Communications Director, Richard Thornton, commented: “We know Christmas can be a costly time for families, which is why we want to help alleviate some of that pressure as the New Year approaches.
“At Aldi, we’re dedicated to offering exceptional quality and value without compromise year-round, but this giveaway is our way of going one step further to offer extra support when cost pressures are felt most.”
