AC Milan have signed Brazil defender Emerson Royal from Tottenham for an undisclosed fee.
The right-back made 101 appearances for Spurs after joining the north London club for £25.8m from Barcelona in August 2021.
He reached a century of club appearances against Liverpool at the end of last season.
The 25-year-old, who has 10 international caps for Brazil, joins Milan on a four-year deal, with the option for a fifth.
Spurs rejected an initial £8.4m bid from the Italian giants last month.
Milan are understood to have fended off interest from Borussia Dortmund and clubs in Saudi Arabia to sign the defender.
The Serie A side say Emerson will wear the number 22 shirt this season.
