Dolce & Gabbana delivered a high-energy show as the cast walked out of the duo’s Metropol theatre show space to dance outside the street.

 
Thousands cheered as models ascended a scaffolding riser on Viale Piave, creating a seemingly never-ending catwalk. The concept was reinforced by a dynamic backdrop—two massive, curving LED screens displaying urban landscapes: Paris’ Pont de Bir-Hakeim, New York’s No. 1 elevated subway line, Washington’s Capitol Dome, and Dubai’s towering skyscraper canyons.
 
Inside, a blizzard of paparazzi lights illuminated the front-row guests. Naomi Campbell vamped; Achille Lauro channelled a Lord Byron moment in a Henley top and astrakhan peacoat; Italian singer Blanco showcased freshly frosted hair; German influencer Leonie Hanne flashed a toothy grin in a latex trench over a sheer slip dress and exposed underwear; while porn star and entrepreneur Jessie Andrews smouldered in nearly the same dress—minus the trench.

Equally striking, DJ and Italian It-girl Annalisa stunned in a skimpy silver metallic flapper look paired with strass-covered biker boots. Each entrance generated huge roars from the 3,000 onlookers.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana named the collection “Cool Girls,” and the cast embodied just that—off to a party or a romp in oversized boyfriend parkas with hefty fur trim, all covered in strass. Underneath, an array of lingerie pieces—corsets, knickers, bloomers, and barely-there bras.

The duo presented some standout examples of Milan’s biggest trend for next winter—shearling, dyed and diced, grained and shorn to resemble Nordic fox, Finnish mink, or Siberian wolf. These were paired with biker-inspired pieces—whether worn leather cargo trousers merging with jodhpurs or buccaneer styles blending into mechanic boots.

A dozen crystallized mini cocktail dresses made for a dazzling finale. The entire cast ended up on the street, shown live on the LED screens, as DJ De Angelis worked the mixing desk.

 
All the optimism and fun-loving attitude of Italy—and of this house—were on full display at the street party outside, climaxing with ear-splitting screams as the excited models exited the show. De Angelis whipped up a storming DJ set. Now, that’s what we call a “Cool Girl.”

The crowd was so massive for Dolce & Gabbana that local police had to shut down two main tramlines outside. And they say fashion is in an existential crisis. Really?
