Destination Greater Victoria, a non-profit industry association focused on developing and promoting tourism in Greater Victoria, British Columbia, has named MMGY Global as its first in-market communications agency to spearhead its PR strategy in the UK.
With over 40 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry and serving more than 30 countries, MMGY Global will utilize its expertise and extensive network to effectively position iconic and emerging destinations, thereby launching Destination Greater Victoria in the UK market.
Upon arriving in Greater Victoria, visitors will instantly appreciate the region’s dedication to local culture and sustainability. The vibrant culinary scene highlights Vancouver Island’s best produce, prominently featured in Canada’s first Chinatown, farm-to-table dining experiences, and diverse food trails. Approximately 70% of the hotels in the area are independently owned boutique establishments, catering to every type of traveler.
Warm and knowledgeable local guides offer a variety of adventures in the stunning natural surroundings, from hiking and biking to whale watching and bear spotting, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
