The men’s World Cup of tennis is back in Manchester’s AO Arena from 10-15 September as the Lexus Great Britain Davis Cup team begin their campaign for an 11th title.

The Davis Cup Finals Group Stages will take place across four cities in four nations: Manchester (Great Britain), Bologna (Italy), Valencia (Spain) and Zhuhai (China).
For the second consecutive year, the Davis Cup will return for Manchester’s AO Arena for a week of world class tennis from Tuesday 10 September to Sunday 15 September.
Last year’s final match between Great Britain and France saw a British record crowd of 13,000 spectators.

All of Great Britain’s ties will also be broadcast live on the Tennis Channel FAST channels, as well as BBC red button, BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer.
The Lexus Great Britain Davis Cup team will face a tough challenge if they are to progress to the Final 8 in Malaga this year.
Their group includes 2022 champions Canada, last year’s semi-finalists Finland, and an Argentina team full of strength and depth.

The teams will compete across the week in a round-robin group, with the top two nations in each group progressing to the Final 8 in Malaga from 19-24 November.
Each tie will be best of three matches – including two singles and one doubles. Matches are played as best of three tie-break sets.
Italy were crowned Davis Cup champions for the second time in their history – led by world No.1 Jannik Sinner, Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Arnaldi, Lorenzo Sonego and Simone Bolelli.
The Italians defeated Australia 2-0 in the final and in 2024 will be aiming to become the first nation to retain the title since Czech Republic (2012-2013).
The Lexus Great Britain Davis Cup team won their group in Manchester with three wins from three against Switzerland, Australia and France – including a third set tie-break victory in the deciding rubber against the French on the final day.
The Brits faced a strong Serbian team in the quarter-finals in Malaga, where 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic led his team to a 2-0 win.
