Flight Centre Travel Group and Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS), the business-to-business arm of Trainline, have extended their partnership to bring UK rail content to Melon, Corporate Traveller’s proprietary travel management platform.
Rail bookings and post-sales servicing are now available to Melon users through the TPS Global API, adding UK rail travel to the flights, car rental and hotel services already available via the platform.
Corporate Traveller caters exclusively to start-ups and mid-sized businesses. In a typical year, it has 16,000 customers around the world.
Donna Joines, Head of Corporate Traveller UK, said: “Our partnership means the continuation of ensuring seamless and efficient journeys for every traveller.
“It also allows our customers the beauty of choice. With this upgrade, they can compare different train options side by side, including prices, travel times, and available amenities. This transparency empowers them to make well-informed decisions based on their preferences and budgets.”
Andrew Cruttenden, General Manager at Trainline Partner Solutions, added: “Interest in rail is growing across the business travel sector, particularly as awareness of business travel’s carbon footprint increases, so our tech plays a key role in offering travellers a wider choice as well as easy access via existing travel platforms.”
National Rail made the following statement, it said: "Southern, Gatwick Express and Thameslink services will be disrupted in the East Croydon area."Southern and
