In reverse order…
Fifth top

Chris Waddle played for Sheffield Wednesday later in his career in his thirties spending four season there. Plus I am pretty sure he still lives in the area. Waddle telling BBC Sport, ‘I played there for four years, unbelievable support. When Hillsborough is full that is rocking. What an atmosphere it is.’
Maybe the most interesting one that he leaves out, in terms of clubs he played for, is Tottenham. Especially when he was there for four years in the key part of his career, prime years of his career in mid-twenties to late-twenties.
As you can see, Chris Waddle picking Newcastle United and St James’ Park in second.
Whilst no wonder he picks the Mackems, only played a handful of matches for them at the age of 36, but as a Sunderland fan he was always going to include them.
