In Chinese astrology, each year is associated with one of the 12 zodiac animals – the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.
Each one is also affiliated with an element; Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, creating a cycle that repeats every 60 years. The year of the Wood Dragon, which runs between February 10, 2024 and January 28, 2025, will see some zodiacs fare better than others when it comes to luck.
According to Valeria Black, a Tarot reader, astrologer and medium, this can change every week. Her latest predictions have named five Chinese zodiac signs that will come out on top between July 8 and July 14.
Sharing her insight on Your Tango, she said: “Luck can be mysterious, but it does reveal signs of its rapid entry to those who are observant.”
Valeria continued: “Under this influence, five Chinese zodiac signs will have the luckiest week of them all.”
Those born in the year of the Horse (1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, and 2026) will receive what’s due to them if they’ve put in the work and effort, claimed the astrologer.
She said: “Your luck this week is restive. You don’t need to do anything more to bring in the harvest due to you. The dominoes have begun to fall and there’s no stopping this – just relax and watch as everything unfolds in your favour.” Lucky colours for the Horse are green, blue and black.
People who associate with the year of the Pig (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, and 2031) may unlock luck this week by remaining introverted. Described as “quiet luck” by Valeria, this fortune comes by tuning into yourself and stepping away from the limelight to focus on what’s “truly important to you”.
The astrologer suggested that the colours red and green will be lucky for the Pig this week, but they are urged to make these motifs and colours more subtle.
Unlike the Pig, the Ox will have “social luck” this week. The medium said: “You are about to blow up in the social scene in the best way possible! For some, this luck of yours will unfold on social media. For others, this will be in real life with your popularity going through the roof because of something specific you have done (or will do this week).”
Red flags shouldn’t be ignored by those born in the year of the Ox (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, and 2021), but the colours blue and green remain lucky for them this week.
Luck is one with nature this week for those born in the year of the Goat (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, and 2027). Opportunities described as “tremendous” by Valeria may arise and perhaps some new connections.
The colours white, blue and green are luck this week and those associated with the Goat may see literal luck; in their gardening efforts and harvest, while others will experience fortune in a more metaphorical sense. According to the Tarot reader, whatever is nurtured by the Goat will experience “pure luck” this week.
Set to experience romantic luck this week, those born in the year of the Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, and 2023), may finally be sought out by their crush.
Valeria said: “Or maybe your partner will pop the question and ask if you want to marry and take everything to the next level.
“For others though, this luck is more about being loved and cherished by the world in a platonic way… because they just can’t help but love you! It’s the luck of being extra loveable. So watch out for random hugs and cheek pinches.”
As far as lucky colours go this week, the Rabbit should seek out all things red and blue.
