Scottish Ensemble is seeking a new Chief Executive to lead the organisation as it continues to develop its trailblazing and innovative approaches to classical music performance.
The Chief Executive works closely with our Artistic Director, Jonathan Morton, to develop a creative programme and artistic partnerships which stand out from the rest of the market. Reporting to the Chair and Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the company – from setting a compelling vision and leading colleagues to deliver this vision, to overseeing effective fundraising and marketing strategies which ensure our work has the greatest possible impact on our growing audiences.
The successful candidate will be a creative leader with both visionary ideas and the strategic business knowledge to ensure our reach and reputation thrive and diversify. You will be a passionate advocate for the power of music and be excited to take our work to increasingly diverse audiences and contexts. An experienced leader, you will support and empower our people and generate respect amongst those you work with.
