Left it a little late to book a summer holiday? A study by the team at loveholidays has found the world’s cheapest destinations for a last-minute July getaway.
Al Murray, chief marketing officer at loveholidays, said: “There’s a common misconception that booking a last-minute getaway, particularly during peak season, always comes with a hefty price tag.
“Our analysis shows there are still fantastic deals available for those yet to book their summer holiday, whether you’re looking for a bargain break or a taste of luxury.”
So where’s the cheapest destination for a beach holiday this July?
According to loveholidays research, Agadir in Morocco is the cheapest destination for a last-minute holiday at the beach.
A trip to the coastal city in Morocco costs just £144 per person for a three-star package holiday.
The city on Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, has a beautiful crescent-shaped beach and an attractive seaside promenade.
It was also the cheapest city for a four-star package holiday, coming to just £200 per person, according to loveholidays.
However, if you’re looking for a spot of luxury, Dalaman was the cheapest destination for a five-star package holiday. Prices started from just £402 per person.
The Turkish region is close to some of the country’s best beaches and prices are generally low for Britons once they’re there.
In Spain, Andalucia was the cheapest option with three-star package holidays starting from £173 per person.
