Celtic midfielder Kwon Hyeok-kyu has joined Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old South Korean was farmed out to St Mirren for the second half of last season, making nine appearances as Stephen Robinson’s side finished fifth in Scotland’s top flight.
Celtic bought Kwon from K-League club Busan IPark last summer, when the under-23 international signed on a five-year contract, but he has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Scottish champions.
Meanwhile, there is interest from the Netherlands in Hibs striker Dylan Vente.
A deal is not imminent, however, and any switch for the 25-year-old Dutchman would also be on a loan basis.
Vente has scored 11 goals in 43 appearances since joining the Leith club from Waalwijk in his homeland last summer.
He had started Hibs’ first five games this season but was on the bench for Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat by Celtic and has not scored since grabbing a hat-trick in their opening-day 5-0 League Cup group-stage win over Elgin City.
