£250 was also stolen from the victim’s wallet
Police have issued a CCTV image of two people officers would like to identify after bank card thief went on a £350 shopping spree in a Staffordshire town.
The bank card was stolen from a man’s misplaced wallet near Peter’s Retail Park in Lichfield Street, Burton-upon-Trent, at around 11am on November 10 last year.
It was then used at various shops in the town – with a massive £350 spent.

Around £220 had also been taken from the victim’s wallet.
Staffordshire Police today issued a CCTV image of a man and a woman officers would like to speak to following the theft.
The man was pictured wearing a grey hoodie and a black and yellow ‘Icon’ cap.
The woman was wearing a grey hoodie underneath a black gilet.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re releasing a CCTV image of two people we want to speak to after a man’s bank card was used at various shops in Burton-upon-Trent.
“At around 11am on 10 November, a man misplaced his wallet near Peter’s Retail Park, Lichfield Street.

“When he checked his online banking a few hours later, approximately £350 had been spent in shops around the town. Around £220 was also taken from the victim’s wallet.
