Castore is continuing its ambitious store rollout plans with the premium performance-wear brand having just opened at Glasgow’s Braehead Shopping Centre.
The 1,482 sq ft store showcases Castore’s range of performance sportswear, that has carved out a strong niche in the market for its innovative materials, lightweight durability and good functionality for men and women.
Braehead said it’s been focusing on brands that align with customer demands and its high footfall environment will allow Castore to reach new consumers who may not have discovered the brand before.
The sports offer at the mall is already quite strong with JD Sports, Footasylum and Sports Direct having stores there so it makes sense for Castore to open given the sports focus that many visitors are already likely to have.
Danny Grimshaw, head of retail at Castore, said that its new store “will provide us an opportunity to continue our successful reputation in the region, making us more accessible and helping us to enhance our shopping experience. The centre’s fantastic location will allow us to connect with an even broader audience”.
Other recent openings for Castore include Cribbs Mall at the other end of the UK in Bristol with a 573 sq ft space, a regional flagship at centre:mk in Milton Keynes, and its first outlet store in London at the Outlet Shopping at The O2 mall.
