A British traveller has shared footage of how packed the ferry is between the Greek islands of Santorini and Mykonos.
A video on TikTok entitled “reality of the ferry from Santorini and Mykonos” shows hundreds of people queuing in a huge line for the boat before attempting to board with their bags.
Some other travellers have claimed the boats gets so busy at times, people have been forced to “sit or stand” for the journey.
One poster on Tripadvisor said: “We left over an hour late, most likely due to poor organisation with shuttling everyone onto the ferry. “Rather, there was no organization to it at all.
“Once finally on the ferry, there was no assigned seating and it seemed the ferry was well overbooked as people were forced to stand or sit on the floor.”
However, the person who filmed the TikTok video said their journey was good.
They added on the video: “But, the ferry across to is perfect and definitely worth the queues.”
Another who posted on Tripadvisor said queues were worse in high season.
They said: “We just followed everyone’s lead when getting on the ferry car level. Everyone rushes on lines of their bags and goes up the stairs. The crew tells you where to go according to your ticket.
“At the end of the voyage everyone picks up their bags and walks off. Again, in the high season things may be more hectic.”
