UK lingerie retailer Boux Avenue is continuing its mission ‘Supporting All Women from Top to Bottom’, partnering with the CoppaFeel! and The Eve Appeal charities.
Support for the charities, which throw the spotlight on awareness of breast and gynaecological cancers, sees the retailer launching its collaboration both in stores and online. It allows customers to provide donations at till points and via digital checkout with an equal 50% split of the donation to both charities.
Staff from across the Boux business, including 27 stores, offices and distribution centres, are also supporting the charity partnerships through donations, fundraising activities and marketing materials in-store.
With breast and gynaecological cancer among the most common cancers for women in the UK (one in seven women are affected with breast cancer in their lifetime and 60 people are diagnosed with one of the five gynaecological cancers a day in the UK), the retailer also provides a charity landing page on its site, providing information on the charities, key facts, along with signs and symptoms to look out for.
These educational posts will offer a variety of support, information and guidance to help the Boux Avenue community to be aware about breast and gynaecological cancers.
Amber Hodge, Partnerships manager at CoppaFeel!, said: “Boux’s support means we can raise the vital funds and awareness we need to get every 18-24 year-old checking their chest. CoppaFeel! exists to give all young people the best chance of surviving breast cancer.”
