Harry Shaw created his business, The Tattooed Golf Coach, back in 2020 after Covid hit.
Since then, he has launched multiple new ventures- all with the aim to help others.
Harry’s journey with golf started when he was only six-years-old, building his way up and perfecting the craft year by year.
Harry said: “I just never fit the image of a golfer.”
He said when he was younger, golf was seen to be a posh game played by older men and that there was a code to follow.
Harry added: “I was very different and unique, so I never fit the golf image at all.”
At the age of 19, Harry stepped away from golf completely and worked in sales and as a barber for multiple years.

During the Covid lockdown, Harry wanted to get back into golf and push it in the right direction, therefore created his business.
Harry said over the past few years, golf has gained in popularity with younger generations.
He said: “From coaching and playing to clothing, it’s been good to challenge the tradition, make it more inclusive and make it more modern.”
Around six months after he started his business, he created the clothing brand Shaw Golf.
Harry describes the clothing as very “bright” and “colourful”, saying it’s “very different to traditional golf attire”.
Harry partnered with Macmillan Caring Locally in Christchurch for certain designs, meaning that the profit will be donated to them.
Also, the brand will be partnering with Dorset Mind and Friends Fighting Cancer in Portsmouth soon for a design also.
As of last year, Harry and his business partner David Bartlett launched the South Coast Golf Hub at Parley Golf Centre.
Harry said: “Our goal is to grow the game and provide a welcoming space for golfers of all levels to learn, train, and enjoy the sport in a fresh, innovative way.”
Leaning into the world of football, Harry and his brothers have just launched South Coast Kits, which supplies custom clothing for football teams, children, women and men.
Due to the sad reality that women footballers are often handed down previous male kits, Harry wanted to encourage inclusivity in the football world too.
Harry left school at the age of 16 with no qualifications, but he reminds people to go after what makes them happy.
Harry said: “It’s amazing what you can achieve.
“I’ve had all the opportunities I could ever dream of.”
