Promising “an enriched shopping experience” Japanese fashion and lifestyle giant retailer Uniqlo has reopened a renovated and expanded flagship store at White City’s Westfield.
After 10 months of remodelling, the bigger and embellished store now spans two extensive floors at the key London mall, featuring LifeWear for women, men and kid’s, the latter now coming with an expansive Kids & Baby area.
It includes a dedicated play area built within the kid’s space for customers and their families to enjoy while shopping.
And the latter feature also enables Uniqlo to launch its special collaboration: Crisis x Mr Men Little Miss with the retailer continuing to work with the national homelessness charity, donating essential, brand-new clothing to Crisis Christmas services.
The collaboration aims to “build awareness, educate families on the causes and solutions to homelessness, and raise funds to support the charity’s vital work”.
It also sees the launch of two new characters, Mr and Little Miss Invisible, “to help shine a light on the reality of being without a safe home”.
The new characters have been developed in collaboration with people with lived experience of homelessness and are based on their insight of feeling excluded from society.
The accompanying exclusive range of T-shirts, featuring the two new characters, will launch as limited-edition range for purchase first at the White City store.
On Saturday (12 October) Mr Men Little Miss will have character appearances and booking reading sessions throughout the day for customers.
Kim Collins, head of e-commerce at Crisis, said: “By introducing Mr and Little Miss Invisible, created together with people with lived experience of homelessness, we hope to shine a light on this pressing but often hidden issue.”
