Feeling the chill in the UK?
The weather has taken a significant dip across the country recently. With Storm Bert hitting parts of the UK this week and snow wrecking havoc on other parts of the UK, it can be tempting to just pack a bag and leave.
If you’re looking for an excuse to escape, one TikTok user has revealed five fantastic destinations to visit in November. These locations promise a final burst of sunshine before the Christmas season.
Travel content creator Kelsey, who has a following of 354,000, shared the five countries to visit this month for warm weather. These include: Thailand, Morocco, Barbados, Jordan and Mauritius.
In her post, she explained why these should be on your travel bucket list. She wrote: “1. Thailand. November in Thailand is dry and sunny with daily average temperatures of 28C to 32C (82F to 90F).”
She added: “You can’t miss the famous Yi Peng Lantern festival which takes place in Chiang Mai in mid-November. 2. Morocco. Average daily highs are 23C (73F) which is the perfect temperature for exploring a bustling city like Marrakech.
“It can get cooler in the evenings and I recommend staying in a riad with a heated pool. 3. Barbados. Travel to Barbados towards the end of November which sees the end of the wet seasons and when you can enjoy average temperatures of 29C (84F).
“The dry season lasts through until April. 4. Jordan. Autumn is one of the best times to visit Jordan – it’s still pleasantly warm, around 25C-30C (77F-86F) during the day, which means you can avoid the blistering heat of summer.
“Ideal for exploring Petra and Wadi Rum.”
And last but not least, her fifth choice was Mauritius where the summer begins in November. She continued: “If you’re like me and love sunny mild days at 25C (77F) so you can enjoy sunbathing without the SULA (sweaty upper lip area), then head to Mauritius!”
Of course flights might not come cheap for these places, but with Black Friday sales it’s definitely worth looking into. For example, Jet2 is offering 20% off for flights to Morocco. Meanwhile lastminute.com has deals on for Barbados and Jordan.
The post garnered 2,000 likes since it was shared as one wrote: “Anywhere but the UK,” while another chimed in: “Lovely content. ” And a third posted: “Beautiful.
