Bangladeshis in UK celebrate Sheikh Hasina’s resignation: ‘We have achieved 2nd independence today’
Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina resigned and left Dhakha in a military chopper amid nationwide violence on August 05. Following the PM’s resignation, chaos broke out in the country with protestors celebrating her resignation. However not only in the country, Hasina’s resignation also brought joy to Bangladeshis in other parts of the world as well. Bangladeshis in the UK took to the streets to celebrate Sheikh Hasina’s resignation stating that the nation had achieved its second independence today. Meanwhile, Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina landed at Hindon air base in a C-130 transport aircraft in India on August 05.
