Authentic Brands Group announced on Tuesday a new partnership with One World, for the design, manufacturing and distribution of its Tapout brand, including adult and children’s sportswear, activewear and swimwear for men, women and children.
Under the deal, the new Tapout collections will include a variety of sportswear and activewear items such as T-shirts, pants, jackets, joggers, skirts and swimwear. Each piece will feature the latest designs and fabrics, ensuring durability, comfort and style.
The line will offer a range of sizes and styles to accommodate all body types and preferences, and will be available via various retail channels, including department stores, specialty retailers and online platforms.
“Partnering with One World Brands to expand Tapout’s offerings is an exciting opportunity for the brand,” said Scott Orenstein, vice president, heritage brands – lifestyle at Authentic.
“This partnership aligns with our mission to bring exceptional products to market and introduce a range of products that embody the essence of Tapout, catering to a diverse and growing customer base.”
Founded in 1997, Tapout is a hard-body fitness brand born from the roots of fight. In 2015, the company was relaunched following its joint-ventured acquisition by pro-wrestling company WWE, and Authentic Brands Group.
“We are thrilled to partner with Authentic to launch Tapout sportswear and activewear,” said Arthur Matura, chief operating officer and managing partner at One World Brands, which also designs and distributes for the Good Things Last 4Ever brand.
“Our team is dedicated to producing stylish and functional pieces that meet the needs of today’s consumers. Tapout is a brand with a strong legacy due to its cultural impact and we are honored to contribute to its growth.”
Earlier this month, parent Authentic Brands announced the appointment of its new Africa head, as the New York-based management firm recruits new hires to lead key global areas of interest.
