Iconic British brand Antler is set to take the summer holiday season by storm this year thanks to the introduction of a brand new size in cabin cases.
Large enough to fit loads of clothes and essentials, the Icon Stripe Biggest Cabin case measures an impressive 58 x 39.5 x 24 cm and offers a spacious 48 litres of packing capacity. Priced at £195 it’s not cheap, but fans of the Antler brand know that the design and construction, along with the lifetime guarantee, make these cases sought after.
Launched last month, the new Icon range offers three different-sized cabin cases to suit every kind of traveller. An excellent alternative to the best-selling Clifton Cabin and Clifton Cabin with Pocket cases, the Icon range is also available in a choice of trendy colours for fashionable travellers.
Larger but not much heavier, the Icon Biggest Cabin weighs just 2.7kg. Generously sized, this case could actually be too big for most British airlines, but it would be a brilliant choice for city breaks and weekend escapes on the ground.
According to the website the Icon cabin case is: “Crafted from the highest quality, using recycled polycarbonate, the hardwearing shell keeps belongings secure when winding through airports or storing in the luggage rack. With a water-resistant exterior, you won’t have to worry about the weather.”
As you would expect from Antler, the case moves effortlessly even when full. The comfortable combination of the Silent Glide 360 spinner wheels and bespoke comfort grip handle makes it easy to roll alongside you through the airport.
On the inside the fully recycled interior lining offers a soft landing on which to lay your best holiday clothing, and the double-zip pockets and compression straps will keep your gear neatly organised on the go.
With one five-star review already on the Antler website, the Icon Biggest Cabin looks set to be a “big” hit this summer.
One delighted customer who has already received the cabin case in the Moorland Pink colourway left a five-star review saying: “Love this case, such good quality and never had a case that glides so well! The expander on it makes packing a dream, allowing me to fit so much more in. And the pink is the perfect shade so chic!!”
There aren’t any negative reviews to date, although the size might make it unsuitable for some flyers.
Launched as part of the British heritage brands’ Icon Collection which celebrates its 110th anniversary, the Biggest Ever Cabin case offers those all-important extra inches for travellers who don’t mind checking their bag in the hold if they have to. To avoid unwanted extra fees at the gate. passengers must always check airline restrictions before travelling.
If the Antler case is not quite what you are looking for this time round, both Dunelm and Amazon have great deals on hand luggage in all sizes.
