Anti Social Social Club (ASSC) has launched its first-ever standalone retail space in the UK with a Selfridges, London, pop-up that’s open until early January.
And it comes as the new UK ASSC website, antisocialsocialclub.co.uk, prepares for its 14 December debut, “offering British fans access to global drops, exclusive local collaborations, and faster local shipping”.
Back with the pop-up, it has been opened to mark ASSC’s 10th Anniversary and is said to mark “a significant milestone in ASSC’s global journey”.
It commemorates “ASSC’s evolution from an underground internet experiment to one of the most recognisable streetwear brands” and it includes exclusive colourways from the mainline collection and the 10-Year archive range.
The pop-up has been designed to reflect ASSC’s signature “anti-social” ethos, styled as a lived-in bedroom. A steel bedframe with ASSC bedding and rug is the centrepiece, with clothing and collectables arranged across a chest of drawers and rear wall units, accented by branded props.
Campaign footage loops on a desk-mounted screen, “and the space is brought to life with playful details”.
The company has even adorned the Selfridges cash desks in ASSC’s sayings, “immersing visitors in the brand’s world”.
While the London pop-up is the main focus of the brand’s experience, the product collection is also available in the department stores Birmingham and Manchester Exchange locations.
Selfridges also holds the exclusive UK rights to the archive collection that includes “nostalgic reimaginations, limited-edition graphics, and relaunches of some of ASSC’s most iconic collaborations from the classic Mind Games styles to Kkotch, Tonkatshu and Koi re-prints”.
The offer includes graphic tees priced at £70, with hoodies at £165.
