Two recruits visited Kentucky for Big Blue Madness on Friday. Acaden Lewis, a 4-star PG from the class of 2025, and Anthony Thompson, a 5-star small forward from the class of 2026, were on a visit.
When Thompson was on a visit, he also received an offer from Kentucky. The 6-foot-7 wing from Western Reserve (Lebanon, OH) is ranked in the top 20 nationally at all major recruiting websites. His highest ranking is ninth overall at 247 Sports.
Thompson also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Louisville, Michigan, and others. According to Jacob Polacheck of KSR, Thompson will visit Ohio St (Oct. 13), Michigan (Oct. 19), and Michigan State (Oct. 20).
With Kentucky being able to host Thompson on a visit during Big Blue Madness and for him to also get an offer, it shows that Mark Pope is very interested in the talented forward.
