Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham sit 15th in the Premier League table after suffering a fourth straight defeat against Leicester which was also their eighth reverse in their past 10 games
Ange Postecoglou returned to confront a furious Tottenham Hotspur fan who was berating the beleaguered Australian as he went down the tunnel after their latest damaging defeat against Leicester City.
Injury-hit Spurs threw away a one-goal lead, given to them through Richarlison after little more than half an hour, against the relegation threatened Foxes at home to ensure a fourth Premier League defeat in a row and eight from their past 10 fixtures.
And Postecoglou appeared to snap back at a taunt from some fans near the tunnel area after the game with video footage posted on social media showing him walking inside before returning moments later to deliver an angry response.
Spurs fans also aired their grievances towards chairman Daniel Levy on a toxic afternoon in north London.

Speaking in his press conference after the game, Postecoglou said: “This is as low as we’ve been so far this year. But I still think that in these last three months (of the season) we can do something really special and these players believe that.”
Spurs remain 15th in the table, eight points clear of relegation. And asked if he will be given more time to turn things around, with several players expected back from injury in the next month, Postecoglou said: “Who knows? I reckon there is probably a fair chunk that will say no.
“When you are the manager of a football club ,you can be very vulnerable and isolated but I don’t feel that. I feel like this group of players are giving everything for the club and I have a group of staff that is really committed. I focus on that.
“But is there anything I can say that is going to change anything that I need to do tomorrow morning? Nothing.
“Where we are in the league is nowhere near good enough. That’s a reflection on me and my coaching, but we still have some fantastic opportunities to make an impact in the second half of the season.
“I have been around long enough to know that some will just judge us on where we are at at the moment, and rightly so in some respects. It’s not good enough.
“But I’m still very much stuck on the fact that the players are just giving everything they can. They did on Thursday night, they did again today.
“There are at least two who probably shouldn’t be out there but they were desperate to try and turn our fortunes around.
“Hopefully, over the next 10 days or two weeks, we should get some significant players back which will help this group a lot. It will give them the boost they need.”
