The Kentucky Wildcats have a full new roster of players heading into the 2024-25 season. With a new-look SEC, the Cats have shifted from a full roster of young freshmen to a roster full of experienced transfers.
One of those players is Wake Forest transfer forward Andrew Carr.
All of the BBN has heard the recruiting story with Mark Pope driving to Nashville to pick up his family for their visit to Lexington in the middle of the night. It was long thought he would head to Villanova, but ultimately the talented stretch-four committed to the Cats.
Now, he is the latest player to be featured in the Meet the Cats series done by the UK Sports Network.
Carr is poised to be one of the most important pieces on the roster this next season, as his game fits perfectly into Coach Pope’s style of play in Lexington.
There is still a lot of time left before the Big Blue Madness tips off the season, but these videos and the practice highlights are keeping me excited for this coming season.
Let’s keep them coming.
Go Cats!
