Sustainable footwear and lifestyle brand Allbirds Inc. has expanded its international distributor model by teaming up with distributors in Europe and Latin America.
Under the new agreements, effective July 1, Switzerland-based Chris Sports will become Allbirds’ exclusive distributor for Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland.
Meanwhile, Wystam, headquartered in Uruguay, will serve as the exclusive distributor for Allbirds in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. This agreement allows the sustainable brand to establish a larger footprint in key Latin American markets.
“After a year of successful transitions to a distributor model in five of our key geographies, plus the addition of four new regions, we are pleased to be adding the expertise of Chris Sports and Wystam to our portfolio of global distributors,” said Annie Mitchell, chief financial officer of Allbirds.
“Together, we believe we can drive significant growth and brand value across these two important regions for our business.”
With the completion of these agreements, Allbirds now has distribution partnerships in place with 11 companies worldwide.
