Fashion’s love affair with luxury cars is gearing up to reach full throttle, with the sweeping Formula 1 fever uniting loyal racing fans with a new (increasingly female) generation. Now, Range Rover seeks to explore this valuable new relationship with its first lifestyle offering.
The capsule, aptly named ‘The London Collection’, consists of eight pieces across fashion and home. The designs draw from the life of the city and the legacy of the Range Rover brand, from motifs to architecture, to inspire the spirit of the pieces and the campaign. Perusing the edited offering, you’ll find silk twill scarves imbued with the influence of mid-century patterns, reversible quilted jackets that have been constructed with a nod to Range Rover’s exclusive colour palette, and luxe wool-cashmere blend blankets available in rich chocolate browns or dessert-inspired raspberry and citrus.
“We’ve curated a contemporary new luxury lifestyle capsule for discerning individuals who appreciate Range Rover’s vision of modern luxury,” explains the British brand’s apparel designer Kimberley Panton. “It was important to us to celebrate the interplay of colour and to reflect the eclecticness of London living, while harmoniously juxtaposing modernist lines and forms to create pieces that evoke modern grace, vibrancy and sophistication.”
When it came to selecting the face of the collection, Adwoa Aboah was a natural choice. The actress and model has become synonymous with the city through her ever-growing portfolio of projects, from her role in the London-based Top Boy to her work with some of the most renowned British fashion and beauty brands including Burberry and Rimmel. “British craftsmanship is so special because it embodies a perfect balance of heritage, quality, and innovation,” she explained to Bazaar.
Aboah’s collaboration with the brand is a simpatico fit when you learn her approach to personal style. “Trends? Not my thing,” she says. “I prefer to curate my own vibe, reflecting whatever I’m feeling, unbound by what’s ‘in’. I’m more interested in expressing my mood than following anyone else’s lead.” This is reflected in Ranger Rover’s own ethos; this is a brand that’s known for its timeless, unwavering and elegant approach to design, and setting the standard as opposed to following a trend. It’s this philosophy that’s secured Range Rover a status as a leader in refined motoring, and a true-blue customer base.
“It’s not every day you come across a brand with the kind of loyalty and raw realness that they bring to the table,” Aboah explains. “I’ve been collaborating with Range Rover for years, and every time, it feels like a natural extension of what we both stand for.”
Below, the model and actress speaks to Bazaar about the brand’s new capsule, her personal fashion choices and her penchant for people-watching.
“I’m in that post-partum zone, so my go-to is anything that’s quick, easy and cosy. I’ve developed a master’s degree in running late, so I’ve learned to embrace anything that works in a rush; comfort is king, no question. If it’s soft, simple, and gets me out the door without a meltdown, it’s a win.”
“[Accessorising] is your chance to craft something completely original — a reflection of your personality, infused with your own flair. It’s where creativity meets self-expression, turning the ordinary into something uniquely yours.
“I’ve always loved piling on jewellery, but lately, I’ve embraced a more refined approach. It’s so easy to go overboard with accessories, so before I step out, I take one last look in the mirror and dial it back just a bit. That said, one thing I’ll never scale down? Sunglasses. They’re an absolute must, no matter what.”
“I’ve always worn silk scarfs in different ways, so the Range Rover London Collection scarves being colourful and vibrant immediately appealed to me.”
“What I love most about British style is its effortless blend of tradition and individuality. It’s a mix of classic tailoring, edgy streetwear and quirky personal touches that make it feel both timeless and rebellious. It can mean a thousand different things. It follows no format or rule; it continuously pushes boundaries.”
“I enjoy a tailored men’s shirt, a good knit and a great pair of socks.”
“Style is always more dynamic when it’s layered. Adding your own edge to an outfit is all about mixing things up — blending old with new, classic with contemporary, and polished with effortless. It’s in those unexpected contrasts that true personal style shines.”
“People watching! There’s no better pastime than watching the world go by and picking your favourite parts.”
“I think being a modern icon is about both inspiration and influence — learning from the experiences of others while also allowing your own journey to inspire and empower those around you. It’s a continuous exchange of ideas, authenticity and growth.”
