It’s been months in the making and comes weeks after Adidas unveiled football star Jude Bellingham’s own logo for the sports giant. And now it has finally launched the signature clothing line under the Adidas Originals banner.
It’s a collection designed in conjunction with Bellingham that we first caught sight of in late May ahead of the Euro 24 and Copa America tournaments with the launch of an Adidas ad campaign.
Now the full line-up has been revealed to include a jersey made from engineered flat-knit rib, a tracksuit, ringer tee and shorts. They all come with that new ‘JB’ monogram logo alongside the Adidas trefoil and white, blue and red detailing, reflecting Bellingham’s status as a star player in the England team and his club’s colours (Real Madrid).
The jersey channels the classic Adidas Original lifestyle jersey and has a late 1980s-1990s edge via its V-neck polo collar. And there’s a retro edge through the rest of the offer too.
The launch underlines Bellingham’s superstar status as such Adidas Originals collections complete with their own logos are reserved for football’s elite with Lionel Messi the only other active footballer having his own line.
Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at Adidas said: “Jude’s talent on the pitch is undeniable, but his eye for fashion and his authentic personality truly resonated with us. This signature collection isn’t just about creating coveted leisure wear, it’s about celebrating a generational athlete who embodies the adidas Originals spirit. Working directly with Jude throughout the design process ensured every piece reflects his unique style, making this a truly special collaboration.”
