Good morning, BBN!
The SEC is no joke, and we saw that last night. Not only did the Kentucky Wildcats lose to the Georgia Bulldogs, but Tennessee, the No. 1 team in the country, got blown out by Florida 73-43, the team Kentucky beat just a few days ago!
Last night really showed the weaknesses of this Kentucky team. The physicality in the paint was too much for the Kentucky bigs to handle.
By the 12-minute mark in the second half, Andrew Carr and Amari Williams had four fouls, showing they were losing the battle down low.
Georgia shot 38 free throws compared to Kentucky’s 19 free throws. It was 31-9 with about five minutes left, which pretty much tells you the story about the game.
No time to sulk over this loss as the Cats head to Starkville to take on No. 14 Mississippi State this Saturday.
If Kentucky wants to wins games like this they are gunna have to find a way to score more than the other team, been an issue in all our loses
