The Chapters Brand Group agency has been appointed sole distributor for US giant Wolverine Worldwide’s Cat brand license footwear products, distributing to retailers across the UK.
The collaboration kicks off by introducing Wolverine’s industrial Cat Footwear, “enhancing the brand’s presence in-store and online”.
Since joining forces, Chapters Brand Group has already secured distribution for Cat-licensed products within UK retailers such as Tower, Urban Outfitters, and over 40 independent stores.
“Further discussions with additional major retailers are ongoing”, with the goal of expanding Cat Footwear’s omnichannel footprint, the agency said.
“The Cat brand [is] one of the best well-known brands in the world. It is uniquely special to me, as my father was International Sales Director, back in the 90’s heyday,” said Chapters brand director Antony Nathan.
The important addition of the Wolverine license deal sees Chapters Brand Group continuing to grow its roster by distributing household name brands to the UK & EU markets.
Founded in June 2023, but with its origins traced back to 2007, Chapters has “grow considerably in just over a year”, acquiring household name brands including Rockport and Norda which are also launching onto the UK market in 2025.
With a presence across the UK, Europe, and India, Chapters said it “offers strategic planning, design, sourcing, marketing, distribution, and bespoke product creation, making [us] a unique partner for brands seeking to thrive in competitive markets”.
