Good morning, BBN!

SEC play officially starts today, and it’s only fitting that it begins with the #6 team in the country, the Florida Gators.

The Kentucky Wildcats also kicked off conference play last year against the Gators, securing a narrow victory by a score of 87-85.

Florida looks even better this year, and Kentucky is coming off a very impressive non-conference run.

The Gators have four players that average double figures, headlined by Walter Clayton Jr. and Alijah Martin. It will be a tough start to a rugged path in the SEC.

The game begins at 11 AM ET at Rupp Arena, which is weirdly early. It’ll be interesting to see if that affects either team. You can watch it on ESPN.
