Hello, friends. It’s been far too long. After a 10-day break from Kentucky men’s basketball, the Wildcats finally return to the hardwood this afternoon.

No. 10 Kentucky (10-2) will kick off the new year a day early with a matinee showdown against the Brown Bears (7-4). Mark Pope‘s team is a massive favorite to pick up the win, which would surely help with the team’s momentum going into the SEC gauntlet starting on Saturday if a blowout were to happen. We should be celebrating an easy win going into 2025.

As we continue our pregame prep, the KSR crew will make our regular walk down High Street to preview the matchup. Join along below as Jack Pilgrim, Steven Peake, and I talk some Kentucky hoops. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m. EST on ESPNU.
