According to the Met Office, mist will continue throughout the day in Jersey while Guernsey’s fog will begin to lift by 11:00 GMT before turning clearer throughout the day.
In Jersey, many flights have already been delayed with one flight to Gatwick cancelled while a flight from Manchester has been diverted.
In Guernsey, a spokesperson for Aurigny warned passengers that flights departing from the islands on Friday “may be subject to a later departure time”.
