LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – UK cornerback Maxwell Hairston will forego his final year of eligibility, declaring for the NFL Draft on Monday.
Hairston spent four years at UK, playing in 32 games and making 20 starts, totaling 89 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, ten pass break-ups, six interceptions, and three forced fumbles.
A team captain, Hairston only played seven games in 2024 due to injury, but managed to notch 19 tackles, one TFL, two forced fumbles, a sack, one interception, and four pass break-ups.
Hairston is slated to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in February.
