Inside Story, which launched as an online-only brand in 2023, opened its first physical shop at Bluewater Shopping Centre on Friday, December 6.
The 1,827sq ft store, located on the Lower Guildhall, offers a “timeless yet aspirational” space showcasing a range of homeware items and Christmas gifts.
This includes hand-crafted cushions, scented candles, linens, and decorative accessories.
The shop also stocks Christmas gifting products, such as festively scented candles, cushions, and diffusers.
Centre director at Bluewater, James Waugh, said: “We’re delighted to have welcomed Inside Story’s first physical store to our retail lineup here at Bluewater.
“This is a fantastic addition to our retail mix, offering something that cannot be found at any other shopping destinations, and further strengthens our position as a leading shopping destination.
“Alongside the recent openings of Kent-first brands such as Bershka, Pull&Bear, and Sephora, this demonstrates our commitment to offering guests a diverse and exciting range of fashion, beauty and homeware brands.”
Inside Story’s spokesperson added: “Having only launched online in 2023, we are thrilled to have now opened a 2000sqft flagship store in Bluewater.
“This retail opportunity allows us to share our passion for beautiful products and importantly showcase our full range of stylish and vibrant homeware and perfect gifting solutions.
“With new locations planned for the next twelve months, together with further product launches, this story is just at the beginning.”
Inside Story is a part of the TFG London group, which owns three other well-established brands at Bluewater.
Phase Eight, Hobbs, and Whistles have traded at the shopping centre for the past two decades.
Bluewater, which is owned by Landsec, has more than 280 stores, as well as a 17-screen cinema, a trampoline park, and a soft play area.
It is also home to Hangloose Adventure, which boasts the UK’s only outdoor skydive machine and Europe’s largest swing.
Landsec is one of the largest real estate companies in Europe.
The company said it is committed to leading the industry in environmental and social sustainability while delivering value for shareholders and great experiences for guests.
As well as its shopping centres, Landsec invests in buildings, spaces and partnerships to create “sustainable places, connect communities and realise potential.”
