High-end department store Liberty has collaborated with Adidas to kick off 2025 with a collection of vintage Liberty print sneakers.
An “exciting fusion of timeless style and heritage floral patterns”, the range will included the German brand’s popular Gazelle and Stan Smith, alongside the Campus 00, and the Country OG styles with a 10 January release date.
A co-branded apparel collection that merges Adidas’s sportswear ethos with Liberty’s artistic legacy is expected to follow.
In the meantime, the Gazelle is adorned with vivid floral embroidery complemented by off-white stripes and gum soles, “offering a fresh, botanical twist”. Meanwhile, the Stan Smith, designed for kids, features a deep navy floral base with delicate detailing, blending sophistication and playfulness.
The Liberty London x Adidas Collection will be available at select retailers in-store, online, and through Adidas.com.
Liberty is, of course, no stranger to collaborations for its world-famous prints.
Most recently, womenswear retailer The Fold unveiled an SS24 limited edition summer capsule using the fabric specialist’s print archive, then there was a Bridgerton collection of fabrics to coincide with the third season of the Regency-set hit Netflix show. It also previously linked up with sports brand Puma to produce a second collab with a print-based streetwear collection in classic Liberty florals, and there was even a collab with kidswear brands Trotters and Peppa Pig.
