Critically acclaimed folk supergroup I’m With Her, featuring multi-Grammy Award winners Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan, and Sara Watkins, have announced a singular UK performance at London’s Barbican on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Tickets for this highly anticipated show go on sale Friday, December 13, at 10 am via imwithherband.com.
I’m With Her combines the talents of three of contemporary folk’s most celebrated artists. Since their serendipitous formation in 2014 at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the trio has been crafting music that is both ethereal and purposeful, showcasing their seamless blend of searing musicianship, tender vocals, and mesmerizing harmonies.
The Guardian describes their sound as “both ethereal and purposeful, a combination of searing musicianship and tender vocals.” Meanwhile, The New York Times praises their songs as “folky on the surface and skeletal, yet intricate within. They carry tales that are both intimate and far-reaching, involving heartbreak, separation, resilience, mortality, and constant, restless travels.”
Before coming together as I’m With Her, the trio’s members co-founded seminal bands such as Nickel Creek and Crooked Still. Collectively, they have contributed to albums by esteemed artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Alison Krauss, John Mayer, and John Prine. Their collaborative project is a testament to their individual and collective artistry, presenting new possibilities in songwriting and musicianship.
Their debut album, ‘See You Around’ (2018), received widespread critical acclaim. Uncut magazine celebrated the group’s “iridescent harmonies, vivid songwriting and deft picking and strumming.” The Sun declared the album their “Album of the Week,” noting the trio’s “gorgeous harmonies.” Songlines went even further, awarding it a five-star review and stating, “Supergroup smash all expectations.”
Following the success of ‘See You Around’ I’m With Her embarked on a sold-out international tour, lighting up stages across the globe with their captivating performances. Their return to the stage in 2025 is eagerly anticipated, with the London Barbican show marking a key highlight of their upcoming tour.
Tickets for I’m With Her’s Barbican performance go on sale Friday, December 13, at 10 am. Fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spots for this exclusive event.
Stay tuned for updates on new music from I’m With Her as the trio continues to explore new creative horizons while delivering the spellbinding artistry that has defined their career.
