Understanding obligations under the EU GPSR for UK fashion and textiles
Do you understand your obligations under the EU GPSR (General Product Safety Regulations) and are you ready?
UKFT has prepared member guides and support resources on the EU GPSR specifically applied to fashion and textiles businesses. The regulation becomes effective on 13 December 2024 replacing the current EU General Product Safety Directive (GPSD).
UKFT EU GPSR guidance lists your extra obligations (on top of the EU GPSD) that you will need in place on 13 December if you place goods on the market to consumers in the EU.
