Thought the Met Gala was fashion’s biggest night out? Guess again. This side of the pond, it’s all about The Fashion Awards.
With no theme to tailor looks to, it’s the perfect excuse for the biggest names in style – think A-listers, designers, models, stylists, influencers and more – to go all out. And that’s exactly what they did for this year’s event that took place on the evening of Monday 2 December. We’re talking the most daring of naked dresses, head-to-toe sequins and tailoring so sharp, you could cut yourself. Yes, we’re looking at you, Rita Ora.
But what exactly is the point of The Fashion Awards? With the Royal Albert Hall in London providing the most spectacular of settings, the Awards (excitingly sponsored by our fave affordable jewellery brand, Pandora) are hosted by the British Fashion Council to raise money for the non-profit organisation’s charities. They also recognise a diverse range of talent across the fashion industry, with prize winners recognised in categories including Designer of the Year, Model of the Year, the Trailblazer Award and Outstanding Achievement Award.
Perhaps most excitingly is the guest list, though. With A$AP Rocky scooping the Cultural Innovator Award for 2024, it meant a long-awaited red carpet appearance from Rihanna! She was joined by this year’s host Maya Jama, plus Ashley Graham, Sabrina Elba, Simone Ashley, Lila Moss and Julia Fox. AKA fashion’s most elite.
So, without further ado, keep scrolling to see all the looks on the red carpet at The 2024 Fashion Awards.
