White Stuff has arrived at London Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal, ahead of a special opening day on 28 November with the fashion and lifestyle store delivering free drinks and gifts for its fly-away customers.
The 1,044 sq ft store becomes the brand’s first airport store and follows a series of physical openings and new concessions.
The store design has been developed specifically for Gatwick, including colourful visual merchandising luggage, a ‘runway’ into the store and changing room doors in the style of airplane doors.
The fun opening celebration element will include a ‘spin to win’ game with 300 prizes available, including custom White Stuff travel merch and Aesop mini travel sets.
The store team will also be giving away exclusive branded tote bags to 100 customers while airport customers will receive 10% off the high street retail price in-store.
Product-wise it features “the best of White Stuff’s thoughtfully designed high quality womenswear and menswear”, including the latest autumn/winter collections, Christmas gifting, and of course, sun-focused swimwear, summer dresses, accessories, T-shirts, shorts and linen ranges.
The latest store joins the multi-channel lifestyle brand’s 115 stores and 46 concessions in the UK, the latter including John Lewis, M&S and other independents.
Bozena Stoiceva, Account lead Speciality Retail, London Gatwick, said: “White Stuff is a premium British brand and will be a popular addition to the North Terminal, which has recently undergone a multi-million-pound redevelopment.”
