Emirates will launch its A350 service to Edinburgh on January 3, 2025, offering a modern, efficient travel option between Dubai and the Scottish capital.

Emirates has revealed that it will accelerate the launch of its daily A350 service to Edinburgh, beginning January 3, 2025.

In addition to Edinburgh, the A350 will be deployed to several other destinations, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kuwait, Bahrain, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat, and Bologna, with further routes expected to be added soon.
Flight EK 23 is scheduled to leave Dubai at 14:50 and arrive in Edinburgh at 19:05, local time.The return flight, EK24, will take off from Edinburgh at 20:40, reaching Dubai at the following morning.

The airline currently runs a daily A380 service to Glasgow, offering a total of 14 flights per week between Scotland and its hub. By adding Edinburgh to its network, Emirates will now serve a total of eight cities across the UK.
Emirates also celebrated a significant fleet milestone earlier this week with the arrival of its first Airbus A350 aircraft. The latest arrival, A6-EXA, is the first of 65 A350 aircraft that will be integrated into Emirates’ fleet over the coming years.This delivery represents the airline’s first addition of a new aircraft model since 2008.
Emirates has secured an order for 65 A350-900 aircraft, each designed to accommodate between 300 and 350 passengers in a typical three-class layout. The aircraft are designed for both short-haul and ultra-long-haul routes, with a maximum range of 9,700 nautical miles (18,000 km).

The A350 is equipped with three cabin categories: 32 advanced business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 259 seats in economy class.Initially, these aircraft will be used on a variety of short to medium-haul routes, with Bahrain serving as the first destination.

Emirates currently maintains a fleet consisting entirely of wide-body aircraft, including the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 models.
