Hathersage boasts an iconic outdoor swimming pool from the 1930s. It is heated and has commanding views of Stanage Edge, Hathersage Church, and the surrounding countryside.

It’s also the perfect destination for literature buffs, with North Lees Hall, the muse behind Charlotte Bronte’s ‘Jane Eyre’, in the heart of Hathersage.
