The luxury rental service Hurr is redefining the meaning of ‘fast fashion’ by partnering with the popular delivery company Deliveroo to offer on-demand designer dressing, just in time for the onset of party season.
Launching today, 19 November, the service will be available for those in Central London and will give customers access to more than 50 pieces from designers including 16 Arlington, Self-Portrait and Rixo through the Deliveroo app.
The partnership marks Deliveroo’s first foray into the fashion delivery space, having previously branched out into beauty via a collaboration with Boots. It fills a much-needed gap in the market, signalling a shift away from the unnecessary use of fast-fashion pieces to stem the flow of last-minute outfit panic.
“We’re all about making sustainable fashion as convenient as possible, and this partnership ensures you can access and enjoy luxury rental fashion at speed, without the compromise of fast fashion,” Hurr founder Victoria Prew told Bazaar.
Not only does the Hurr x Deliveroo collaboration offer accessibility to designer pieces at a swipe, but it does so at an unrivalled pace, promising delivery to your door in as little as 20 minutes.
“We’re excited to revolutionise the way our customers access fashion, and our new partnership with Deliveroo means you can have your dream party dress delivered to your door in record time, perfect for those last-minute plans,” says Prew.
The edit currently consists of dresses and covetable accessories, available to rent for four days, and offers pieces in UK sizes 4-18. Staying true to Hurr’s commitment to accessibility and affordability, premium brands such as Club L and Nobody’s Child will also be available to rent alongside its luxury label offering.
