With “growing brand awareness a key priority”, independent womenswear brand Albaray has now partnered with department store chain Fenwick to open concessions.
Stores include the Newcastle flagship, plus Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells and Bracknell, with a further rollout planned for the new year.
The new partnership increases Albaray’s physical availability and adds to its retail partnerships which include M&S, John Lewis, Next, plus selected boutiques including Percy Langley.
CEO and co-founder Paula Stewart said: “Supporting our digital store with physical availability in key locations has been a clear strategy for the brand, we know our customers like to shop in-store and online.”
Stewart noted that “driving these exciting opportunities has led to significant growth, and we are moving into 2025 with positive momentum.”
That momentum continues this weekend with Albaray also hosting a pop-up store at Brityard on London’s Regent Street, “helping to drive further brand awareness and exposure with the London-based consumer and the tourist’s footfall during a key trading time”.
It’s been a busy year of expansion for the brand with it opening two own-brand stores in premium high street locations in Chichester and Bath. The latter opened this spring to coincide with the brand’s third anniversary. It chose Bath as key tourist destination, with the 1,200 sq ft unit on the city’s New Bond Street stocking the entire collection.
