According to travel experts at Netflights, the busiest travel days around Christmas are December 21st and 22nd. 

Travellers planning a holiday getaway are encouraged to avoid flying on these dates, as airports are likely to be very crowded. 

Instead, experts recommend flying on Christmas Day itself for a smoother experience.
