Anyone who has followed Ruben Amorim closely will have seen the way his teams have played over the last three or four seasons. He has won two titles in Portugal and I know people will say ‘that’s Portugal, not the Premier League’, but you can only beat what is in front of you.
He’s only young, he had quite a good playing career too. In terms of his style and the way he likes to play, it’s a very adaptable system and a very adaptable style, but I think the most important thing he has to do is instil that steel that everybody became accustomed to for so long at Manchester United and make them a team that people don’t like to play against.
It has been quite some time now since they were challenging for the Premier League title or seriously challenging for the Champions League.
