Eyewear giant Marcolin has named Davide Lunghi as General Manager of ic! berlin, effective immediately. 

At ic! berlin, one of the group’s owned brands, he’ll oversee the management and strategic development of all business units “with a particular focus on strengthening the company’s position as a premium design brand worldwide”. 

The appointment is part of the firm’s “strategy of enhancing ic! berlin’s organisation and its processes within the group as well as expanding the customer base of [it] in Asia and the United States, leveraging on the brand’s reputation as a non-conformist design label offering premium eyewear – handcrafted in Berlin”.

Lunghi has extensive experience in the luxury and premium brand segment. 

He’s held positions spanning General Management, Commercial Operations and Business Development & Financial Planning and “upheld the premium brand image” for luxury companies in the watches and jewellery segments.
